Tim Grimmett, Executive Director
Tim is a business owner, investor, author, speaker, ordained pastor and Amazing Life coach.
He is a Christian leader who strives to assist individuals and families create a vision for their life, which includes faith, family and finances, which he believes will help them live an amazing life.
He resides in the St. Louis metropolitan area, with his wife Nancy. They have 3 daughters, who are active in community service.
Vernon Thomas Mansfield Jr., Chairman
Vernon T. Mansfield Jr. was born in St. Louis, Missouri January 1960 and has remained there his entire life. He is the oldest of five children, having two younger brothers and two sisters. Vernon attended both Catholic elementary and secondary schools. Starting college at St. Louis University (Pre-med) he decided to switch majors and schools transferring after one year to the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL), majoring in Business Management with a minor in Psychology, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in May 1982. While working what was at the time McDonnell Douglas, he obtained his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Maryville University in St. Louis in 1992.
Mansfield started his work career in August 1982 and has worked for over 30 years at the Boeing Company in St. Louis in a variety of Finance capacities. Vernon currently works as a Material Cost Management Analyst, however spent the majority of his career as a Contracts Administrator/Specialist. He also spent eight years as a Manager of Employee Training & Development in alignment with his passion for training.
Vernon married Cheri Lynn Versemann in June 1984 and was blessed with four children, raising three sons; Andrew, Joseph, and Christopher, and daughter Kelsey. He also has custody of his nephew Mark since March 2011. He was an active member at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran from 1990 through 2009 where he was chairman of the Mission and Outreach committee, taught both youth and adult bible classes, including Dialog Evangelism 2. He also participated over the years on their Board of Elders and Directors. Besides his family, Vernon loves sports and enjoys coaching, especially soccer (obtaining a D License, which enabled him to coach club/competitive teams), baseball and has even dabbled a little at basketball. Mansfield teaches a Divorce Care Class at First Christian Church of Florissant. Vernon is engaged to be married to Cindy Lynn Derr and is currently a member at First Baptist Church Harvester.
One of the most cherished moments was partnering with New Life Chinese Lutheran Church in San Francisco, organizing and taking my entire family to a Servant event in Brownsville Texas / Rio Bravo Mexico in 1999, where we taught VBS and helped put a roof on a church.
Vernon’s heart for the homeless and less fortunate led him to be on the board of Blessings To Others, where he has actively participated since October 2011.
Nancy Grimmett, MS, LCSW, Vice Chair
Nancy is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked for the Special School District for 26 years.
She has been a member of Blessings to Others since the very first year of its origin. She works with families and children, as an advocate and find resources to help others.
Nancy and Tim have been married for 25 years and they have 3 daughters.
Ron Gines, Secretary
Ron started his first business in High School, has been an information systems professional for 35 years and has a habit of working as an active board member of non-profit organizations.
Professionally he has been the President of CONNEXUS, Inc. for nearly a quarter of a century and has offered his technical skills to organizations such as IBM, May Company, Southwestern Bell, and Nestle Purina.
He has served on the boards of organizations such as the St. Louis Habitat for Humanity, The Swan House Teen Center, Forest Park Southeast Housing Corporation, David Ranken Neighborhood Health Committee and the Gateway Conference of the Free Methodist Church.
Ron is also an active Real Estate investor. He is excited to provide his technical and organization experience to Blessings to Others as we assist individuals and families achieve their potential.
He has lived in the St. Louis region for over 30 years. For fun he enjoys playing bass, photography, and researching his family genealogy. If you meet him, feel free to ask him how the silver of Silver Dollar City lore is connected to his ancestors or how his 6x Great-Grandmother knew the founders of St. Louis.
Cindy Derr, Treasurer
Cindy has worked in the health insurance industry for the past 29 years holding positions of management in claims, customer service, provider relations, appeals and compliance.
Cindy’s real joy comes from serving in her church and the community. She has spent a number of years on the benevolence team at church doing financial counseling. She has worked in the food pantry, taught Pre-school through 5th, and coached Bible Bowl teams.
Cindy has two beautiful daughters, two awesome son-in-laws and five incredible grand-kids. She currently attends First Baptist Church Harvester and is engaged to be married to Vernon Mansfield.
Cynthia Harden, Board Member
Cynthia has been involved in children’s education throughout her career.
She is a champion of women’s causes, and a single mom of two children.
She is currently working towards becoming an ordained minister.
David Sain, Board Member
David assists our team with over 25 years experience in industry and the Department of Defense.
David is highly skilled in new product development, product portfolio management and process improvement.
David has a proven ability to develop cross-functional teams, managing schedules, budgets and meeting technical and business objectives.
Randy Schrupp, Board Member
Randy graduated from Western Illinois University in 1972, and went to work as a sales representative in the Health Products industry. He moved to the commercial insurance industry in 1980 with Liberty Mutual, specializing in the area of Workers Compensation, and continued to work in that field until 2005. In 2007 he moved into health insurance field selling Medicare and Long Term Care insurance as an independent self-employed broker. He built a successful practice in this field, and continues to manage that business.
Randy also became a licensed real estate professional in 2013, and began investing in real estate at that time. Randy has served as a Junior Achievement Advisor for 5 years and currently volunteers as a Youth Swim coach. Randy joined the board of BTO in 2014, in order to give back to those less fortunate.
David assists with spiritual calls for assistance as an ordained pastor.
